The JAXX Gold & Edison Angels Softball Clubs are Hosting: 2013 Tom Doyle Memorial , Eastern Regional Softball Tournament - which is being held July 26,27 &28 & with Tournament Headquarters at the Edison Angels 5 Field Complex, Edison, NJ. The Tournament will be OPEN to 32 TEAMS ! This year's Tournament is open to both Gold & A Level Fast Pitch Teams. To guarantee your spot, it is important that you register as quickly as possible.
The Tom Doyle Memorial Scholarship Fund will be awarding (2) $500 College Scholarships. All Rising Seniors who put their name in will be eligible.
There will be NO REFUNDS once Entry Fees are accepted. The TDM WAS SOLD OUT Last Year!!
FORMAT
All Teams will be guaranteed 4 Games. Under this years format each Team will play 2 Pool Games on Friday July 26.
Top 2 Teams in each Pool will advance to Double Elimination Gold Bracket Play that will begin on Saturday and finish on Sunday July 28th In Edison. The Final 2 Teams will Advance to a Single Elimination Championship Game .
The 3rd & 4th Place Teams in each Pool will advance into Double Elimination Silver Bracket Play that will begin on Saturday and Finish on Sunday July 28th in Wall Township. The Final 2 Teams will advance to a Single Elimination Championship Game.
Two Umpires will be utilized in every game. In Memory of Tom Doyle - The Gold Tournament Champion will receive a PAID BERTH to the prestigious Team New Jersey 2013 Fall Showcase. If the Tournament Champion already has a Berth in the Team NJ Fall Showcase,then that Team will receive in addition the the Team Championship Trophy, a cash prize in an equivalent to the Team NJ Fall Tournament Entry Fee. In this scenario the Tournament Runner-up will be offered an Unpaid Berth.(Please Note) Team NJ ,under any circumstances, can not give a Berth to a team from any organization that is already represented in the Team NJ Fall Showcase.
Each Team will be Responsible for a $40 to be Paid to the Umpire at the Coin Flip before each game.

Entry fee will be $525 per team Deadline: June 1, 2013
This Tournament be ASA Registered for insurance purposes.
