2009 Wall Fall Softball League

Thank you for your interest in the 2009 Wall Recreation Fall Softball League. Although last season was very successful, we are always looking for suggestions on how to make things even better the following year.

Enclosed you will find applications for the 2009 Men's Fall Softball Leagues. This year there will be two seperate leagues offered on our men's Fall program. There will be a weeknight B division and games will will be played on Monday, Thursday or Friday evenings with a maximum of eight openings. There will also be a Sunday League with C & D divisions available with a maximum of 8 openings. Please register early.

The entry fee will be $525 for both the weeknight division and the weekend C & D divisions.  Your ASA sanction fee is included in the above fee. To guarantee a spot in the 2009 Wall Recreation League, please return the enclosed application along with a your check in the amount of $525 PAYABLE TO WALL TOWNSHIP RECREATION  by September 1, 2009. After that date, it will be on a first-come-fist -serve basis.

The league is scheduled to begin approximately the 10th of September and run thru October 31 with playoffs ending by Mid-November.

This season only bats on the ASA approved list will be allowed in the league, so choose your equipment accordingly.

 As you know the Wall Softball League has established its own web site.  There will be a daily update which will include all rainouts and rescheduling, so you or any team member will be able to go to our web site to check the status of games, the schedule (for any changes), or the standings and scoreboard.  Each team will also have the responsibility of emailing their scores within 24 hours to our web site.  Send all scores to wallsoftballscores@gmail.com so the standings can be promptly updated and viewed by all.
