2009 WALL H.S. WEEKNITE SUMMER LEAGUE

The Wall Softball League is offering its 7th annual Girls' Summer High School Fast-Pitch League beginning June 16, 2009, and ending July 31. 2008.

The High School Division, with a maximum age limit of 18 years old, will play primarily Tuesday , Wednsday, & Thursday night doubleheaders with games beginning at 5:30PM.  Each team will play 6 double headers. 

All games will be 7-innings in length with a 90-minute time limit per game. There will be a 8 run mercy rule which  will apply in the fifth inning of all games.  This league will be as instructional as it is competitive, so you will be permitted to bat all your players, should you choose, and interchange them defensively.  There are no standings or playoffs.

The league will be open to traveling teams and high school teams.

The entry fee will be $825. Each team is recomended but not required to become ASA sanctioned and provide injury and liability insurance. The league will provide the facilities, softballs and umpires.  Please make all checks PAYABLE to WALL TOWNSHIP RECREATION .

The deadline to get into the league will be June 1.

The Wall Softball League has established its own web site.  There will be a daily update which will include all rainouts and rescheduling, so you or any team member will be able to go to our web site to check the status of games or the schedule (for any changes).
