2009 WALL COLLEGE/OPEN TRAVEL LEAGUE

The Wall Softball League is offering its 1st  Annual Girls' Summer College/Open Traveling Fast-Pitch League beginning June 17, 2009, and ending July 29, 2008.

The Travel Division will compete with the 18U age group.  Each team will play 6 double headers, mostly on Wednesday nights beginning at 5:30PM. 

All games will be 7-innings in length with a 90-minute time limit per game.  This league will be played with College Showcase rules, so you will be permitted to bat all your players, should you choose, and interchange them defensively. College pitching distance at 43 Feet will apply. There are no standings or playoffs.

This league will only be open to top18U Travel Teams, College Players, and Adults. There is no age limit.

 The entry fee will be $825. Each team is recomended but not required to become ASA sanctioned and provide injury and liability insurance. The league will provide the facilities, softballs and umpires.  Please make all checks PAYABLE to WALL TOWNSHIP RECREATION 

If you have a travel team that would like to compete for only 1 or 2 nights you will be able to do so at a per doubleheader rate. Just contact us so we can fit you into the schedule.

The deadline to get into the league will be June 1.

 The Wall Softball League has established its own web site.  There will be a daily update which will include all rainouts and rescheduling, so you or any team member will be able to go to our web site to check the status of games or the schedule (for any changes).
