2011 WALL H.S. FAST PITCH FALL LEAGUE

The Wall Softball League is offering its 9th Annual Girls' Fast-Pitch High School Fall League beginning Sunday, September 12, and ending October 31.

The High School Division will have a maximum age limit of 18 years old. This division will  play mostly Sunday morning double-headers.  ALL GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AT WALL TOWNSHIP'S  Facilities which include Harry Rash Field, Wall High School, South Wall LL Complex & West Belmar Grammar School.

All games will be 7-innings in length with a 75-minute time limit per game. A 8-run mercy rule will apply in the fifth inning of all games.

The league will be open to traveling teams and High School teams.

The League Entry Fee will be $525. Umpire Fees are not included in this year's entry fee. Each Team will pay the Umpire $20 per game ($40 per DH) at the Field before the start of the game.. Each team is recommended but not required to become ASA sanctioned and provide injury and liability insurance. The league will provide the facilities, softballs and umpires.  Please make all Entry Fee checks PAYABLE to WALL TOWNSHIP RECREATION.

Each team will be guaranteed 5 double-headers and a Mid-Season Tournament with a minimum two-game guarantee.  
 
The league will play with College Showcase rules allowing each coach to bat and interchange defensively all players.   Standings & Scores will be kept through Week 4 - Winning Coaches must email their scores on Sunday Nights..

The deadline to get into the league will be September 1st.

 The Wall Softball League has it's own web site.  There will be a daily update which will include all rainouts and rescheduling, so you or any team member will be able to go to our website to check the status of games or the schedule (for any changes).
