2009 WALL INTERMEDIATE FAST PITCH FALL LEAGUE

The Wall Softball League is offering its 7th Annual Girls' Fast-Pitch Intermediate School Fall League beginning Saturday, September 12, and ending October 25.

The Intermediate School Division will have a maximum age limit of 15 years old. This division will  play mostly Saturday afternoon double-headers at Harry Rash Field in Wall Township.  Depending on the amount of teams in the league, it is possible for each team to have an occasional Sunday afternoon double-header or make-up game due to rain.

All games will be 6-innings in length with a 90-minute time limit per game. A 8-run mercy rule will apply in the fifth inning of all games.

The league will be open to traveling teams and Intermediate School teams.

The entry fee will be $825. Each team is recomended but not required to become ASA sanctioned and provide injury and liability insurance. The league will provide the facilities, softballs and umpires.  Please make all checks PAYABLE to WALL TOWNSHIP RECREATION.

Each team will play 5 doubleheaders and a post-season tournament with a minimum two-game guarantee, and first- and second-place trophies will be awarded to both the Gold and Silver division playoff winners.

The deadline to get into the league will be September 1st.

 The Wall Softball League has established its own web site.  There will be a daily update which will include all rainouts and rescheduling, so you or any team member will be able to go to ourweb site to check the status of games, the schedule (for any changes), or the standings and scoreboard.  Each team will also have the responsibility of emailing their scores within 24 hours to our web site.  Send all scores to wallsoftballscores@gmail.com so the standings can be promptly updated and viewed by all.
